The Aglaonema pictum Tricolor comes from the tropical rainforests of Sumatra, where it thrives in shady undergrowth with high humidity. It’s characterized by its unique camouflage pattern of dark green, light green, and silvery spots, which becomes more vibrant with age.

As a houseplant, it eventually reaches about 40–80 cm in height, but it’s a slow grower – especially as a baby plant, it needs time to develop strong leaves.

Fun Fact:
Its pattern is often called “Camouflage Plant” because it visually resembles military camouflage.
