1. Scope
The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed through our online shop. Our online shop is exclusively aimed at consumers.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession. An entrepreneur is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity who acts in the exercise of their trade, business, or self-employed professional activity when entering into a legal transaction.
2. Contracting Party, Contract Formation, Correction Options
The purchase contract is concluded with Urban Jungle Concept Store GmbH.
By listing products in the online shop, we make a binding offer to conclude a contract for these items. You can initially add our products to your shopping cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order by using the correction tools provided and explained in the ordering process. The contract is concluded when you accept the offer for the goods in the shopping cart by clicking the order button. Immediately after submitting your order, you will receive a confirmation by email.
3. Contract Language, Contract Text Storage
The languages available for concluding the contract are German, French, and English.
We store the contract text and send you the order data and our terms and conditions in text form. You can view the contract text in our customer login.
4. Delivery Conditions
In addition to the stated product prices, shipping costs apply. You can find more details about shipping costs with the offers.
For some products, you have the option of pickup at Urban Jungle Concept Store GmbH, Rudolfstr. 28, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany during opening hours.
5. Payment
The following payment methods are generally available in our shop: PayPal, direct debit, or credit card.
Bank Transfer
The goods will only be shipped after payment has been received.
Credit Card
When placing your order, you provide your credit card details. After your legitimization as the rightful cardholder, the payment transaction is automatically processed and your card is charged.
PayPal
During the ordering process, you will be redirected to the website of the online provider PayPal. To pay the invoice amount via PayPal, you must be registered there or register first, authenticate yourself with your login credentials, and confirm the payment instruction to us. After placing the order in the shop, we request PayPal to initiate the payment transaction. The payment transaction is then automatically processed by PayPal immediately thereafter. You will receive further information during the ordering process.
6. Warranty and Guarantees
Unless expressly agreed otherwise below, statutory warranty law applies.
For used goods: if the defect occurs after one year from delivery of the goods, warranty claims are excluded. Defects that occur within one year from delivery of the goods can be asserted within the statutory limitation period of two years from delivery of the goods. Highly perishable goods such as living plants are excluded from this.
The above limitations and shortened periods do not apply to claims arising from damage caused by us, our legal representatives, or vicarious agents:
• in case of injury to life, body, or health
• in case of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty as well as fraud
• in case of breach of essential contractual obligations, the fulfillment of which enables the proper execution of the contract in the first place and on whose compliance the contracting party may regularly rely (cardinal obligations)
• within the scope of a guarantee promise, if agreed, or
• insofar as the scope of application of the Product Liability Act is opened.

7. Liability
For claims arising from damage caused by us, our legal representatives, or vicarious agents, we are always liable without limitation
• in case of injury to life, body, or health
• in case of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty
• in case of guarantee promises, if agreed, or
• insofar as the scope of application of the Product Liability Act is opened.
In case of breach of essential contractual obligations, the fulfillment of which enables the proper execution of the contract in the first place and on whose compliance the contracting party may regularly rely (cardinal obligations) through slight negligence by us, our legal representatives, or vicarious agents, liability is limited in amount to the damage foreseeable at the time of contract conclusion, which can typically be expected to occur.
Otherwise, claims for damages are excluded.
8. Dispute Resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), which you can find here. We are neither obligated nor willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
