In our online shop, you’ll find gift cards that you can send directly to others via email. If a different shipping day is chosen, the gift cards will only arrive in the evening; unfortunately, we have no influence over the exact delivery time. However, you can also send the gift card to yourself and then give it as a gift either by email or printed out.
The product photos are example photos.
For each plant, we have specified the pot dimensions so you can roughly estimate its size. The size or height of the plant always refers to the total size including the pot.
Please note, however, that the height is non-binding and may vary, as each plant is unique and its size depends on many factors such as age, season, variegation, etc. Your plant will therefore differ slightly in appearance, number of leaves, etc., from the product photo!
Unfortunately, individual selection in advance is not possible for online orders.
However, our local staff always select the most beautiful currently available plants for you.
Versand
Shipping costs depend on the products in your shopping cart, as VAT for shipping is calculated proportionally. For shipping within Germany, the flat shipping rate is €6.90 + VAT,
this amount may be higher for international shipping. The exact costs will be displayed at checkout.
If you want to protect your plants especially during cold temperatures, you can optionally add a heat pack to your shopping cart. We urgently recommend this, especially in the months of November, January, and February!

Currently, we ship to the following EU countries: Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, and Austria. Further EU countries are planned. However, we will not ship to countries outside the EU (e.g., Switzerland, Great Britain, or Norway) in the future.
After your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. We ship with DHL, as we have had the best experiences with them.
We usually ship 1-2 times a week, mostly at the beginning of the week. After handover to the shipping service provider, your shipment within Germany is usually delivered within 1-3 business days. From the order date, it can take two to nine days for the products to be delivered.
Unfortunately, it happens repeatedly that shipping is delayed due to incorrect shipping addresses or packages are even returned to us. In such cases, we cannot guarantee if the order is damaged due to these circumstances! Therefore, please check that all information is correct before submitting your order.
Our store in Karlsruhe has unfortunately been closed since August 2025. However, if you are from the area, you can order plants for pickup.
In this case, we will contact you and offer various pickup times, and you can then confirm a suitable appointment. The pickup location is Ritterstraße in Karlsruhe city center.
We only ship strong and healthy plants. Unfortunately, it sometimes happens that plants arrive stressed or even damaged. If the plant is permanently damaged, please email us with meaningful pictures (service@urban-jungle.store) after receipt. We will find a solution that satisfies you.
We always provide a 14-day guarantee on all received goods. Damages of any kind must be reported within 14 days of receipt. After 14 days, we can no longer accept complaints.
We are only liable for damages if the plant is in the original condition in which it was shipped by us. If the plant is altered (e.g., trimmed, pruned, repotted, or similar), this is at your own risk, and our guarantee expires.
Important note: Please be aware that it can never be ruled out that individual leaves may be damaged during shipping. This is particularly the case with large plants and plants with large individual leaves or freshly unfurling leaves. Similarly, leaves may turn yellow or fall off due to shipping stress. Despite special packaging, this cannot always be avoided, so this is not a reason for complaint! However, with good care, the plants will quickly grow new leaves.
If you do not like your ordered items, please contact us by email. You can find the return conditions under the cancellation policy. For a full refund, the plants must be returned to us and still be in their original condition. If you simply don’t like them (without damage), the plants must be sent back to us at your own expense.
Here again, it should be emphasized that plants are natural products, where no two are alike. The product photos are example photos, but the delivered plant may always differ slightly in appearance, number of leaves, etc., from the photo.
During the cold season, we only ship plants if daytime temperatures are above freezing and nighttime temperatures do not drop below minus five degrees Celsius. We ship in stable, robust special cartons that seal well and use insulating foil if necessary.
We will inform you if there are temperature-related delays. Additionally, you have the option to add a heat pack to your order for two euros in the shopping cart if you don’t want to wait too long. Without an ordered heat pack, we cannot assume liability for cold damage, so we expressly recommend ordering one during cool temperatures.
The plant passport for our plants is either printed on the plastic pot or on the care instructions. If you cannot find the plant passport, please feel free to contact us, and we will send you a digital plant passport.
Unfortunately, our store is closed. However, you can still order for pickup in Karlsruhe city center (Ritterstr.). We will then contact you to arrange a pickup appointment.
Zahlung
In the online shop, payment is possible via PayPal, bank transfer, and credit card. In-store, we offer cash and card payments.
