The Maranta Leuconeura Fascinator Tricolor is a creeping arrowroot from Brazil. It is best to let it grow out over the edge of the pot so that it becomes a hanging plant! In summer, it surprises with numerous purple-colored flowers. But the real highlight is the tricolored leaves. As the plant is related to the Calatheas, it should always be kept moist. But don't panic! It doesn't get brown edges nearly as easily as Calatheas. It is one of the easiest plants in the Maranta/Calathea family. The plant is also known as a "prayer plant" because it raises its leaves in the evening and lowers them during the day.
