Similar to the Hoya Retusa, this Hoya does not look very similar to a typical Hoya. But that makes it all the more interesting! The Hoya Linearis is a hanging hoya that doesn't try to loop up in height like others. The small, long leaves are pencil-shaped and very thin, so the white flowers stand out all the more. This Hoya is a very rare collector plant in America, fortunately not here in Europe!

Wax flowers store water in their leaves, which is why they belong to the succulents. Therefore, they are allowed to dry out completely. Since they are also epiphytes, that is, in nature grow on trees and not in the ground, the substrate should be very airy.

Location: Give this Hoya plenty of light, it can also handle direct midday sun quite well after some careful acclimation. She is an easy plant!

Watering: The top layer should dry out between watering. Once a week is a good guideline.

Toxicity: Hoyas are not to slightly toxic.
