SUStee Moisture Meter with Color Display (Size M)

For those who find it difficult to find the right watering rhythm for their houseplants, SUStee is the perfect solution!

The minimalist moisture meter is inserted directly into the pot of your favorite plant and measures the moisture at the root ball. If the indicator is blue, there is enough moisture and no need to water. If the indicator turns white, it's time to water. That's it!

The SUStee works completely analog and without battery. It also automatically detects the substrate in which it is planted and adjusts the display accordingly. For example, it will change the display later for a cactus in a coarse mineral substrate than for a Calathea in an organic substrate. This works by the SUStee measuring the so-called pF value (potential force), i.e. the effort a plant has to exert in order for its roots to draw water from the soil.

The inner core of the SUStee is used up over time and must then be replaced. Depending on the substrate used, the SUStee lasts for the following time:

• in organic, humus-rich soil: approx. 6 - 9 months
• in inorganic, mineral soil: approx. 6 - 12 months
• in hydroponics: approx. 1 - 2 years
• in Sphagnum or bark: approx. 1 - 2 years
• in peat: approx. 1 year

The SUStee is available in three sizes (for three different pot diameters) and two colors. The refill packs always contain two SUStee refillers.
