Sansevierias are native to Africa and southern Asia. The Sansevieria Mikado has cylindrical leaves that grow straight upwards and, as the name suggests, resemble Mikado sticks. The growth form of the leaves makes this plant very space-saving and it is also very easy to care for.

Light requirements: Sansevierias like to stand in full sun, but can also cope with low light. No other plant is so flexible!

Water requirement: Little, depending on location and season about every two to three weeks. The darker, the less water it needs.

Humidity: No special requirements.

Toxicity: The consumption is poisonous.
