The butterworts, which originate from Mexico, form small rosettes whose leaves are covered with tiny adhesive droplets. The sparkle of these leaves attracts mainly small insects, which stick to them and are then digested by the plant. The pretty rosettes produce large, beautiful flowers every few weeks, making the plants a real eye-catcher.

Butterworts belong in every Urban Jungle, as they are amazingly easy to care for and are an effective weapon against fungus gnats and other small insects. The species offered here Pinguicula Agnata we have here in a very special, white variegated version, which is extremely rare in butterworts!
