Hoya carnosa 'Krinkle 8'

This Hoya is a cultivated form of the Hoya carnosa. Because Hoya carnosa is so easy to care for, it is very popular with growers. The resulting hybrids inherit its undemanding nature. The special thing about "Krinkle 8" is the slightly wavy leaves. A normal carnosa, on the other hand, has totally smooth leaves.

Wax flowers store water in their leaves, which is why they belong to the succulents. Therefore, they are allowed to dry out completely. Since they are also epiphytes, i.e. grow in nature on trees and not in the ground, the substrate should be very airy. Give this hoya plenty of light, but no direct midday sun (although it can certainly tolerate it with a lot of habituation, but better safe than sorry). She is an easy plant!
