Hoyas, also called wax flowers, are low-maintenance houseplants, including Hoya Burtoniae 'Variegata'. It is a plain houseplant with ovate leaves that are yellow to cream in color with a dark green margin. The flowers are red with yellow mounds. Hoya Burtoniae 'Variegata' grows long shoots, so it can hang very well in a hanging basket or in a regular pot from a shelf or windowsill.
Location: Hoyas will only bloom if placed in a bright location. An east or west window would be ideal, but it will also do well with a south window.
Water requirements: Little to medium, water only when the top layer of soil has dried. About once a week should be enough.
Humidity: Somewhat increased, 40%-60%.
Toxicity: Not to hardly toxic
