Ficus elastica 'Tineke' is a rubber tree with variegated leaves and belongs to the fig genus, although its fruit is inedible. It can grow into a small tree indoors. The red veins on the new leaves are particularly attractive.
Location: Bright, without direct midday sun. In partial shade locations, the white part of the leaves quickly turn brown and the leaves may fall.
Watering: Between watering the substrate should dry well.
Toxicity: The ficus is poisonous.
