Calathea Ornata

Calathea Ornata is a unique plant: it has dark green leaves with pink double stripes. But the beauty comes at a price: it is not the easiest houseplant. If you can do it justice, it will reward you with the most beautiful leaves ever.

High humidity and low-calcium water is necessary so that it does not get brown edges. The substrate should always be slightly moist. Learn more about proper watering here.

Calatheas should not get direct sun. They can stand in partial shade to light. Care with animals and small children is not necessary, calatheas are non-toxic!
