Apoballis Acuminatissima was also known as Homalomena 'Purple Sword' for a long time. However, the differences were too great: while Homalomenas usually have heart-shaped leaves, the leaves of the Apoballis are pointed. In this rare beauty, the dark green leaves are interspersed with silver spots and are complemented by dark red leaf stalks. A great play of colors!
