Anthurium warocqueanum, also known as Queen Anthurium, belongs to the Araceae family and is native to Colombia. It is characterized by large, elongated leaves that can reach a length of up to one metre or more, with clearly visible veins. The upper side of the leaves is typically dark green, while the undersides can have a reddish-purple hue. We offer here a baby plant in a 6 cm pot.

Anthurium warocqueanum thrives in warm, humid environments and prefers bright, indirect light. It can also cope with less light, but then the growth will not be as vigorous and the leaves will not be as large. We recommend a well-drained potting soil that is rich in organic material; watering should only take place once the top few centimetres have dried out.

Temperature and humidity: Anthurium warocqueanum prefers temperatures between 18°C and 27°C and high humidity. Ensure sufficient humidity by spraying the leaves regularly, placing the plant on a humidity tray filled with water or using a humidifier, especially in dry indoor areas.

Propagation: Propagating Anthurium warocqueanum can be challenging and is usually done by division or tissue culture by experienced growers. Alternatively, it can also produce offshoots that can be carefully separated and planted once they have developed their own root system.

Overall, Anthurium warocqueanum is a stunning and exotic plant that commands attention with its large, sculptural leaves and graceful appearance. With the right care and attention to its specific growing conditions, it can thrive and become a valued addition to any plant collection.
