Anthurium urbanii

Anthurium urbanii is a plant species from the genus Anthurium in the arum family (Araceae). This species is native to Colombia and was only scientifically described in 2007.

The care of Anthurium urbanii is similar to that of other Anthurium species:

Light: Place the plant in a bright but indirect light location. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves, while too little light can lead to poor growth.

Temperature: Anthurium urbanii thrives at temperatures between 18°C and 25°C. Avoid sudden temperature fluctuations and draughts.

Humidity: This plant loves high humidity. Make sure the humidity is high enough by spraying regularly or using a humidifier.

Watering: The top layer of soil should be slightly dry before watering.

Soil: A well-drained, loose and humus-rich soil with a slightly acidic pH value (pH 5.5 to 6.5) is best suited.
