Anthurium Arisaemoides

Native to the cloud forests of Colombia and Ecuador, Anthurium Arisaemoides thrives in high-altitude regions with plenty of moisture and filtered sunlight. Its name comes from the similarity of its inflorescence to the flowers of the genus Arisaema, also known as cobra lily.

Perhaps the most striking feature of the Anthurium Arisaemoides is its remarkable foliage. The dark green leaves have a leathery texture and can grow up to 50 centimetres long, creating an impressive picture of lush greenery. The leaf shape of the rare Anthurium Arisaemoides is reminiscent of an arrowhead.
