The Alocasia Sarian is a hybrid of Alocasia Micholitziana and Alocasia Zebrina and comes originally from the Philippines. Thereby the interesting styles remind of the Zebrina, but they are rather brown marbled than black stippled. Like the leaves of the Alocasia Micholitziana, the arrow-shaped leaves have white veins, which form a great contrast to the dark green leaves. Unlike the Micholitziana, however, the leaves are smooth, making them somewhat easier to care for and less susceptible to pests. The Alocasia Sarian reaches a stately height of two meters.
