In contrast to Alocasia nebula 'Imperialis', Alocasia nebula 'Elaine' has smoother leaves and less dark veins. It is also considered to be simpler.
Location: It is best to place the Alocasia nebula in a place with bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves.
Humidity: This plant loves humid air; 60 to 70 percent is ideal. We recommend spraying the plant regularly or placing a humidifier nearby.
Watering: The soil should be kept evenly moist, but not waterlogged.
Temperature: Alocasia nebula Elaine prefers warm temperatures between 18°C and 25°C. Sudden temperature fluctuations and cold draughts should be avoided.
Soil: A well-drained, humus-rich soil that retains moisture but does not cause waterlogging is best.
Repotting: Young plants should be repotted annually, while older plants can be repotted every two to three years when the roots fill the pot.
