Philodendron Florida Ghost, Baby Plant

The Philodendron Florida Ghost is a climbing Philodendron species. Its serrated leaves would be attractive enough on their own. However, what’s special about this variety is the white color in which new leaves develop. They slowly darken to green over time, creating a stunning contrast of different leaf colors on one plant that immediately catches the eye.

This rare beauty impresses not only with its appearance but also with how easy it is to care for.

Location: The brighter the plant’s spot, the lighter its new leaves will emerge. If the plant is in too dark a spot or overwatered, the white areas can turn brown. Direct midday sun should also be avoided at all costs to prevent the white leaf parts from burning. So, a bright spot without direct midday sun is best.

Water Needs: Moderate. Only water when the top layer of soil has dried out.

Humidity: Average.
