Philodendron Burle Marx Variegata is the variegated version of the classic Philodendron Burle Marx, which features a compact, shrubby habit and glossy, heart-shaped leaves. A mature plant of this species forms an imposing shrub that is a real eye-catcher in any room. Despite the unusual appearance, this variety is as easy to keep as most representatives of philodendrons and also forgives one or two care mistakes.

This particular philodendron was named after Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx, who is considered a pioneer of modern garden architecture.

Habitat: Philodendron Burle Marx Variegata likes a light to partial shade location.

Water requirements: Watering should be done only when the top two to three centimeters of the substrate has dried. During the growth period, fertilize 1-2 times a month.

Humidity: Increased humidity is recommended, but the plant is comparatively robust.
