Hoya Black Cat

Wow! We’re in love with this Hoya! We already love the Hoya callistophylla with its dark leaf veins, but the Hoya Black Cat is even a little prettier!!! Its veins are so dark they look black—an amazing contrast to the otherwise green leaves… We’ll admit it: we’re Hoya fans who love this genus first and foremost for its stunning foliage. Hoya flowers are “nice to have”, but they don’t last long and, for us, they can’t compete with the simple, lasting beauty of these leaves.

The flowers of the Hoya Black Cat are dark red to almost black, which is very special! Like other Hoya species, the blooms are star-shaped and appear in dense umbels.
