Special features of Alocasia Frydek Variegata
The Alocasia Frydek is the variegated form of the velvety Alocasia micholitziana with typical light leaf veins. Since this green form is also frequently referred to as “Frydek” in the trade, the variegated version is usually sold as Alocasia Frydek Variegata.
Characteristic are the dark green, velvety leaves with high-contrast white veins, combined with creamy white to mint-colored variegation. The light areas appear as speckles, marbling, or larger sectoral patches, making every leaf unique.
Due to the combination of a velvety surface and variegation, it is one of the most sought-after Jewel Alocasias of all.
