The Alocasia baginda ‘Dragon Scale’ (baby plant) is one of the most popular Jewel Alocasias and gets its name from its extraordinary leaf surface. Its strong leaves display a striking, relief-like texture reminiscent of dragon scales.

The dark green leaf veins stand out clearly from the lighter leaf surfaces, giving the plant an almost three-dimensional appearance. Even young plants show the characteristic texture, which becomes more pronounced with age.
